This page I hope will become a resource for 1) Recording the existence of publically available data we may find useful, 2) Downloading it, and 3) Parsing the data in various languages, avoiding some terrible mistakes on the way. I have a backlog of datasets to document - they'll get added here in the due course of updating them, which is sometimes triggered by someone asking me to do so. So please do.
